The name Kalabaka has been used since the years of Ottoman rule and the hegemony of Sultan Vayazit II, which comes from the word \u2018\u2019Kalebak\u2019\u2019 meaning nice fortress.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The town hall is located at a junction, consisting of six roads, a reference point for visitors and of significant commercial value for the town.
